Bi Yong Chungunco
President and Chief Executive Officer

Bi Yong was appointed to succeed Alain Crouy as President & Chief Executive Officer with effect from 5 May 2008.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Legal Management from Ateneo De Manila University and her Bachelor of Laws degree from Ateneo College of Law.  Upon graduating, she was in legal practice in major law firms and financial institutions for about 13 years before joining Jardine Davies Inc, Philippines where she held various senior executive positions before assuming the position of Treasurer in September 2000.  During this period, she also held the position as Director, Philippine Bank of Communications, Philippines. She joined the Lafarge Group in September 2002 as Senior Vice President - Legal, Corporate Governance and External Relations in Lafarge Cement Services Philippines Inc.; and was also a member of the Executive Committee.  From September 2004 to January 2006, she held the post of Senior Legal Counsel based in Lafarge S.A., Paris.  In February 2006, she was appointed Deputy General Counsel, a position which she held until her appointment as President & Chief Executive Officer of Lafarge Malayan Cement Berhad.

Yeoh Khoon Cheng
Executive Director (Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer)

Appointed Finance Director in January 1999. Qualified as an accountant in 1983 after four years of articleship with a professional firm of accountants, and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He joined Lafarge Malayan Cement in 1987 as Finance Manager, and has held various positions involving business development, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance activities and acting as Company Secretary from 1990 to 1998 before taking up his current position.

Ghazali Yacob
Vice President - Human Resources

Ghazali joined the LMC Group as Human Resources Director in 1999. He has extensive experience in human resources, having worked with several companies prior to joining the Group, beginning with the Employees Provident Fund (1978–1980); Electroscon Sdn Bhd, a Japanese joint venture telecommunications turnkey contractor (1980–1987); Yaohan Malaysia, a Japanese department store chain (1987–1989); Malaysia Mining Corporation Berhad, a large Malaysian conglomerate (1989–1997); and Kedah Cement (1997–1999). Ghazali holds a Diploma in Public Administration from the MARA Institute of Technology, Shah Alam. In 1982, he went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, USA. He is currently a member of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management.

Kim Jung Rak
Senior Vice President – Industrial

Jung Rak was appointed Senior Vice President, Industrial in January 2008. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Material Engineering from Seoul National University in Korea in 1986. His career started in the Korean cement industry where he joined Tong Yang Cement in Process, Quality  and Commissioning of new lines. Jung Rak has been working for the Lafarge Group since 1999 and held various positions in different countries. He has wide experience in industrial management.

Wong Choong Meng
Senior Vice President – CMCM Perniagaan

Choong Meng, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, joined the Group in 1982. He has held various positions within the Group with the last nine years in senior management. A team player, Choong Meng has contributed to the growth of the Group’s cement and concrete businesses in Malaysia. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Lafarge Malayan Cement in July 2000 and was part of the coordination team for the integration of APMC Group and Kedah Cement Group when Lafarge Malayan Cement Berhad acquired the latter in 1999. He was appointed to head the operations of CMCM Perniagaan on 1 September 2001, a position he continues to hold today.

Kenan Ozturk
Senior Vice President – Procurement

Kenan joined Lafarge Malayan Cement on 1 September 2004.  Prior to this appointment, he was Vice President – Purchasing & Logistics of Lafarge Cement Group in Turkey.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Turkish languages from Anadolu University, Turkey. Kenan started his career with Foster Wheeler International Co., U.S.A as Purchasing Manager from 1981 – 1987 and continued at American Embassy, Turkey as Contracting Specialist from 1987 – 1996.  He joined Lafarge Group, Turkey in 1996 and has since held various management positions responsible for purchasing and logistics for Cement and Aggregates & Concrete operations in Turkey.  He was also Market Coordinator for Grinding Media covering the Lafarge Business units in Europe and Africa from 2000–2004.

Mah Poon Keat
Senior Vice President - Sales

Mah has extensive experience in the marketing and sales of industrial products and building materials gained with Fima Metal Box Bhd (1984-1990) and Lafarge Malayan Cement (1990 to date). Within Lafarge Malayan Cement, he has held senior management positions in CMCM Perniagaan Sdn Bhd (a company involved in the marketing of building materials), Southern Cement Industries Sdn Bhd (a company involved in the manufacture and sale of cement in the Southern Region of Peninsular Malaysia) and Lafarge Cement Singapore Pte Ltd (a company involved in the manufacture and sale of cement and related building materials which operates in Singapore). In his current role, he oversees the Group's entire cement and clinker sales for both the domestic and export markets. Mah holds a BA (Honours) degree in Policy Making & Administration from University of Essex, UK, a Master's degree in Business Administration from University of Warwick, UK and a Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Victor C Janolino
Vice President - Marketing

Victor is the joint Vice President for Marketing for Lafarge Cement Services Philippines and Lafarge Cement Sdn Bhd Malaysia. With over 20 years of marketing and business development experience, Victor worked in various consumer goods categories across China and Asia, most of those experience with Unilever – Bestfoods. Victor graduated with honours at the Ateneo de Manila with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Management. In addition, he took an executive education on financial analysis at Harvard University and is a Sloan Fellow with a degree in Master of Science in Management at the London Business School. 

Paul Yap Poh Onn
Vice President - Supply Chain

Paul was appointed Vice President - Supply Chain with effect from 14 September  2009. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in International Business Management and MBA from Missouri State Of Springfield, USA. Upon graduating, he joined Johnson & Johnson and had since held various Supply Chain focus positions involving ERP system implementation (Malaysia), Affiliates Export Deployment (Malaysia), Regional Supply Chain Modelling (Singapore), Regional Supply Chain Manager (Singapore) & Senior Supply Chain Manager (Shanghai). He has wide experience in Supply Chain management from Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
